Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026. Last updated: October 1, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how MyViralPad, LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in League City, Texas ("MyViralPad", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and deletes personal information when you use myviralpad.com and the MyViralPad app (the "Service"). This version covers the information we handle today.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Contact. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
Information from social sign-in. You can sign in to the Service with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube (through your Google account), X, Telegram, Snapchat, Discord, Twitch, or LINE. Signing in is how we confirm that an account is yours. We read your profile once, when you sign in, using read-only permission, and we keep only these details:
- Instagram: your Instagram user ID (and the separate ID Instagram gives our app), username, name, follower count, and a link to your profile picture.
- Facebook: the user ID Facebook gives our app, your name, and a link to your profile picture.
- TikTok: your TikTok account ID, username, display name, follower count, and a link to your profile picture.
- YouTube: your channel ID, channel name, handle, subscriber count, and a link to your channel picture.
- X: your X user ID, username, name, follower count, and a link to your profile picture.
- Telegram, Discord, Twitch, and LINE: your account ID, username (where the platform has one), display name, and a link to your profile picture.
- Snapchat: your Snapchat account ID, display name, and a link to your Bitmoji avatar (Snapchat does not share photos).
We keep a link to your picture, not the picture itself. These links stop working after a while, so we refresh them each time you sign in and stop showing a link once it has expired; until you sign in again, a cartoon avatar shows instead. If a platform gives us no picture, or you turn your picture off in Settings, we show the cartoon avatar; turning it off deletes the link we keep, and we save no new link until you turn it back on. We ask for no extra permission to get your picture: it comes with the basic profile each platform already shares at sign-in, except Snapchat, where we ask for the Bitmoji avatar permission, which you can decline. We also note that the account was confirmed through the platform's own sign-in. We never receive your password. We use the platform's access key once, to read these details, and then discard it, so we keep no access key. The one exception is LINE: LINE requires us to tell it when you delete your MyViralPad account or unlink LINE, so we keep LINE's access key locked (encrypted) on our servers, use it only to send that one notice, and delete it right after. If we show Twitch follower counts, Twitch's permission screen also asks you to let us read your channel's follower total, and we keep only that number. If we show a Discord server's member count, Discord's permission screen also asks you to let us see the list of servers you own, and we use that list only to confirm you own the server whose member count we show. If we show a Telegram channel's subscriber count, we read it using our own Telegram bot and keep only that number. We never post, send messages, or read your posts, messages, or contacts. You can remove MyViralPad's access at any time in that platform's settings.
Instagram and Facebook sign-in. Instagram sign-in works with Instagram Creator and Business accounts. We use the details listed above only to confirm the account is yours and to show who you are on MyViralPad, as described under "What other people can see" below. We never read your posts, comments, messages, or insights, and we never post for you. We do not look up, store, or show information about Instagram or Facebook accounts that have not signed in to MyViralPad themselves.
What other people can see. Your MyViralPad profile page shows your username, name, profile picture, and follower count. Your username and name, with a mark saying the account was confirmed, also appear publicly on coins you launched through MyViralPad and on coins that name your account to receive their fees: on those coins' pages, in lists and search results, on leaderboards, and in share images. An Instagram follower count appears only on your own profile page; it is never shown anywhere else and never used to rank search results. Your profile picture appears only on your own profile page and link-in-bio page, and in your own account menu, which only you see. It never appears on coins, in lists or search results, on leaderboards, or in share images. When a coin is launched to send its fees to an Instagram or other social account, the coin's public description on the blockchain ends with the same general line used for every coin, "Fees to a MyViralPad creator via MyViralPad.com". It never names your account: the coin's page on MyViralPad shows who receives the fees, and we can remove that from our site. Blockchain records can't be changed or deleted by anyone, so we never put your username, user ID, name, follower count, or picture on the blockchain.
YouTube sign-in and YouTube API Services. Signing in with YouTube uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy explains how Google handles your information. Through YouTube API Services we access only your channel's ID, name, handle, profile picture, and subscriber count, using the read-only permission you grant at sign-in. We use these details only to confirm that the channel is yours and to show your channel on your MyViralPad profile. We store them as described in section 4 and share them only as described in section 3. We refresh or delete the YouTube data we store at least every 30 days. You can revoke MyViralPad's access to your Google account at any time on the Google security settings page; if you do, we delete the YouTube data we hold about you within 30 calendar days. You can also ask us to delete it at any time (see section 4 and our Delete your data page), and we do so within 7 calendar days. MyViralPad's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain words: we use Google data only to provide the features described here, we never sell it or share it with advertisers or data brokers, we never use it for advertising or for credit decisions, and no person at MyViralPad reads it except with your permission, for security, or when the law requires it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider record basic technical details when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and the time of each request. We use this to keep the Service running and secure. We do not use advertising cookies. A small number of essential cookies or browser storage entries keep you signed in and remember simple settings such as your age confirmation.
Age confirmation. We ask you to confirm you are 18 or older and keep only the yes/no answer.
2. How we use information
We use personal information only to:
- create and run your MyViralPad account and show which social account it is linked to;
- respond to your messages and requests;
- keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service; and
- comply with the law, including age and location requirements.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only with:
- service providers that host the Service, store data, send email, and keep it secure, under contracts that limit how they may use it;
- social platforms, only as needed to complete a sign-in you start;
- authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of people using the Service; and
- a successor, if MyViralPad is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply.
4. How long we keep information and how to delete it
- Account and social profile details: as long as your account exists. When you delete your account in the app, or a platform sends us your deletion request, we delete them at once. When you ask by email, we delete them within 7 days (after we confirm the request is yours). We also delete our records of messages and reminders we sent you or received from you.
- Your platform user ID on coins that name you: if a coin on MyViralPad names your social account as the one that receives its fees, we keep only that account's platform user ID (a number, not your name, username, picture or follower count) on our record of that coin, even after you delete your account, so money set aside for you can still reach you if you come back and prove the account is yours. Records on a public blockchain, including a coin's own name and description, can't be deleted by anyone.
- Your wallet link, if your wallet still holds money or coins still pay it: if a deletion request reaches us (for example one Instagram sends us) while your MyViralPad wallet still holds money, or while it is empty but coins on MyViralPad still send their fees to it, we delete everything else but keep one record that the wallet belongs to your platform user ID, and we email you, if you gave us an address, so you can log in with the same account and move the money or reach those fees.
- A few other records we keep after deletion: records of takedown requests and account strikes (they hold the old account ID, so our repeat-infringer rule keeps working), the unsubscribe list (so we never email an address that opted out again), and the wallet addresses on our records of coins created on MyViralPad (they are public on the blockchain anyway).
- YouTube details: refreshed each time you sign in with YouTube; if they are not refreshed for 30 days, we delete them (we keep only your channel ID).
- Instagram details: refreshed each time you sign in with Instagram; if you have not signed in with Instagram for 90 days, we delete your username, name, follower count, and picture link, including the copies on coins that name you (we keep only your Instagram user IDs). Signing in with Instagram again brings them back on your profile.
- Support emails: up to 2 years, so we can follow up.
- Technical logs: up to 90 days.
There are two ways to delete your data:
- Through MyViralPad: in the app, use Me → Settings → Delete account. It happens at once (if your MyViralPad wallet still holds money, we first ask you to move it out or save your wallet key; we never move it for you). You can also email hello@myviralpad.com from the address linked to your account; we complete email requests within 7 days.
- Through Instagram or Facebook, without signing in to MyViralPad: remove MyViralPad under Apps and websites in your Instagram or Facebook settings and send the data deletion request there. The platform sends the request to us and we delete your data at once. You can check the result with the confirmation code we give back. If no MyViralPad account is linked to that Instagram or Facebook account, the confirmation page says so instead; we then keep only a scrambled one-way copy of the account number from the request (not the number itself), so we can check it if you contact us.
Our Delete your data page explains the steps, what is deleted, and how to remove MyViralPad's access on each platform. Removing MyViralPad's access in a platform's settings without sending a deletion request ends any further sharing from that platform, but it does not delete your MyViralPad account. Only Instagram and Facebook tell us when you remove our access, and we then log you out; the other platforms don't tell us, so you stay logged in until you log out. To have your data deleted, use Delete account or email us.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, or to object to how we use it. Email hello@myviralpad.com to make a request. We will not treat you differently for making one. If you are in the EU, EEA, UK, or another region with a data protection authority, you may also complain to that authority.
6. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers, we use recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Children
The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
8. Prohibited regions
The Service is not offered in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, the occupied regions of Ukraine (Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk, and Luhansk), or the United Kingdom. We may use your location to apply this rule.
9. Security
We protect personal information with reasonable measures, including encryption in transit and limits on who can access it. No system is completely secure. Keep your own accounts safe and never share your passwords with anyone, including us.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service grows. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or a notice on the Service before it takes effect.
